Who is the boy with an elephant's head?

His name is Ganesha and he lived in India long, long ago. He is also called Ganapati. Actually, he still lives, because he is considered by the Hindus as one of the Immortals.

Now the Lord has extended Himself into almost every fun and creative activity for children. This is a compendium of four exciting hobby activities centered around lord Ganesha for as young an audience as 6 year olds. The first involves art activity involves use of eight different coloured sand to make Ganesha pictures on traced designs with the help of adhesive glue.
